As humans, we are hardwired to pay more attention to negative experiences than the pleasant ones. We tend to pay more attention to our weaknesses than to our strengths.
Our goal is to help individuals better understand the skills and capabilities they have, and those they need to develop in order to achieve a greater sense of inner balance and being.
And while our practice at Towards A Better You is primarily based on Positive Psychology, we assure you that your emotions, experiences, and thoughts that make you feel unpleasant and uncomfortable won’t be swept under. We believe that as humans, we experience a wide range of emotions, and to truly understand ourselves, we must explore and comprehend this entire spectrum.
